    There were a few of these flitting around, seem to be smaller than the ones I spotted end of last summer though.

    Maybe they had just emerged from cocoons and were still stretching their wings?

    Their wings certainly do look small in proportion to their body sizes!

    Nice captures
    It is probably a young one as it has complete wings and hasn't yet had a scrap over a female. The more mature ones are usually torn and have chunks missing from their wings
