The equipment I use is a Canon 30D with Sigma 50-500mm lens. I also have a garden hide from which I take most of my pictures.

Nice one rolf, I tend to read the newspaper during lunch break, I don't think I have the energy to take up Karate as well.

My son is a 2nd dan in Karate, he used to pratice on me when he lived at home

The closest I got to a Dan as a kid, was Desperate Dan.

Yes, I remember well the famous 'Cow Pie' Rolf. Truly amazing how some things live for ever in the memory. Yet with my advancing years I can sometimes forget what day it was yesterday until I remember what day it is today......erhum!

I love this 'model' of Desperate Dan Beryl he really brought back my childhood memories. When I expanded the image he flew off through our living room wall and into the house next door......WOW!

Oh . What have i done I'll have to re size him. Sorry about that. I changed my mind after re sizing one of him and for got to reduce the size of the snap I favored.

There all better. He was knitted for me by a friend along with Beryl the peril.
I gave Beryl the peril to an old friend. We were in the WRNS together . She sits on a chair in my friend's kitchen.

Sorry about hijacking you thread Rolf.

    Yes
Well quite honestly it was Rolf who brought up Desperate Dan in the first place so I think Rolf is just as much to blame
