    Default Sparrow fledgeling

    This is actually taken from mid-may last year. If you look to the top left you can see another bird - probably an adult, but possibly even a second fledgeling. The reason I spotted this was that my cat kept staring out of the bedroom window and miaowing... and this was what started her off.

    LOL, it does look like they are thinking:
    "...so let me get this right - I have to leave a cosy nest where I get room-service, to jump off a roof to get my own food... and possibly be eaten by a cat. Remind me - why is this best?"
