    Default Spider courtship

    It's impossible to show this event by stills - the girl is sitting quietly on her nice web and the smaller male is inching along the silk towards here, tapping so much that he's moving about too much to be clear. These are a couple of the few that were in focus. I like the second shot at is does give over the whole 'tense situation' vibe
    I stood and watched for a while.. but it looks like this is a long courtship

    I watched another female being approached by 2 males, one on each side... it was getting EXTREMELY tense !

    I have to admit - that was one reason I stood and watched for so long.. ghoulish, eh? But it did get boring after a while... and I was standing in stinging nettles (and had the rash to prove it!)
