    The equipment I use is a Canon 30D with Sigma 50-500mm lens. I also have a garden hide from which I take most of my pictures.

    Goodness - I've never really thought about them being out in the wild, I just know the name from the old song "Don't Dilly Dally" (yep, now singing it to myself - the cat has now left the room......)

    most of my efforts are digi-scoped, using an opticron hr66 scope, pentax optio v15 digital camera and homemade adaptor.+ a panasonic lumix fz28

    nice shot, wild goose. very handsome birds aren't they.
    as louise points out they were once a popular caged bird as canaries are.
    much better to see them wild though.
