I've not had a red-tailed BB before, and this one was obliging me by being on the Petrovskia which is in itself a lovely background.

Thanks, Rolf - I was trying to get a pretty photo rather than just a clear shot of a bee in flight... which is why I chose the Russian Sage - it's a beautiful backdrop.

I've never heard of Russian Sage, Louise. I thought it was Catmint at first glance!

It looks lovely - and a great way to show off a Red Tail!
