In my garden, but not the earlier resident one (no bites taken out of it)
Excellent shots Louise.
Is that a Teasel plant?
Lovely clear photo Louise. Saw an immense amount of these up at Bempton and Flamborough.
Yes Beryl, a teasel - I have them in garden - lots of insects love them, and of course Goldfinches.
Oh Rolf, that's what I was hoping to see - lots of them.. but only seen one at a time, maybe 4 different ones... and I'm working on keeping more still - it's hard work but it's paying off.
Thought so. My Carder Bumble bee is onone but I wasn't sure if it was a Teasel Plant. I think they are very pretty plants
I love them Beryl - they are fantastic all year around in their different stages, and the insects love them... what more can you want?
There are loads of them all the way along the estuary and they are really lovely . we had one in the front garden and the bloke next door asked if he could remove it because it was a pest type plant. This was when I first moved in . So I said yes . Well I'll know better if one grows again.
Thanks Louise
