This is terrible news. I t sickens me why any one should want to do this sort of thing. These a lovely birds
What possible joy can one get from killing
It isn't for joy Chocky, it is for protection of their game bird stock, unfortunately there are still people who feel that they are outside the law.
Oh I see. well crumbs gaming shouldn't be aloud either. I hate it when people shoot ducks and pheasants for the sport of it.
That is so sad. Some people are just sick
I treally makes you wonder about how people think.
Some people just don't think at all.
This is so sad.
very sad indeed... iv'e been privileged to see these magnificent birds during the late 90's. myself and two workmates spent three days birding around scotland. one of our stop offs took in gruinard bay, near to ullapool in west scotland. there, from a point on the roadside, you look across onto a small island. we were lucky enough to see two sea eagle chicks. they were massive. even though they were some way off . through telescopes, you could see just how big these birds are. they were standing on the ground and you could see their wing tags. the sea eagle re-intrduction program has had very good sucsess over all, thanks to very dedicated people. most farmers and fishermen are very pleased to have them around. lets hope the culprit gets his just desserts and the sea eagles continue to thrive.
