    Wow, it really does look like a cuddly toy
    It reminds me of an item I heard on the radio the other day about "Ring of Bright Water". Apparently, as a teenager Terry Nutkins actually helped care for the otters. Whilst Gavin Maxwell was working on the book he needed help caring for the otters as the normal lad was away for some reason, so he asked someone at London Zoo if they could suggest someone from a linked youth organisation.. and Terry was that boy. He even lost part of 2 fingers to one of the otters!
