    Default Daddy's little helper

    This Coot had spotted a long piece of twig in the water and started to swim off with it. One of the young ones saw him and grabbed hold of the end to help... but he wasn't quite as good at handling it as Dad and the journey back to the nest was a little 'fraught'. I was laughing so hard
