It was nice to watch the video Beryl I was expecting the bird to fly off at the end but it didn't.

Don't know anything about this type of thing but do I assume if you lash out the right amount of cash (probably lots of it) you can then acquire equipment which 'blocks out' the annoying wind on the mike.

I can't add a mike to this model or I would get a directional mike and a wind shield. I can only use the built in mike. I will have a look into my other camcorder . It works of tapes though, not as good as the HDD
