Well assuming that you don't know the show, what could you get from the clue, it is two distinct parts, giving you two answers one to the title and one for the lead player.
I'm going out now, will leave it with you.

Ok, I've got the actor, it's LLoyd Bridges (nice clue, Rolf, although I spent a long time with his surname as 'Tracks' ) and just cheated and looked him up..... never heard of that programme.
Does that help you get the programme, Chocky?
could it be Sea Hunt
Yep I think so. I was about to say Skipper . That is what he was called.
and to think I used to like that prog neve missed it.
Yes it was Sea Hunt, can you see where I was going with the clue now Chocky?
Lol. Yes but I flew of at a tangent and went into space. :
Can we have another tune please. Hum if you can't find one
OK, try this one for size.
Mystery TV Theme 95
Lol. Ha. I think you just made that up. It's good though
Mind you can't say I have heard it. Will have to mull that one over.
Sounds like a children's prog.
It's very stately isn't it? I don't think t hat it's children's though.
Yes . It does sound stately. I know it's not the munsters . I like tht
Is it the Adams Family?
Nope it is British through and through.
Could it beeeeeeeeeeee
The Britass Empire?
No, I think we've already had that one.
I don't think that it's comedy, although it may not be 100% serious, at least not from the music.
Is it Rumpole of the Bailey
Well done DD.
Sure is.
Well done DD.
Lol. I watched every episode of that as well.
Yes, I used to enjoy that... now THERE was a face that only a mother could love It's a coincidence that yesterday on radio 4 there was Rumpole play... but they didn't have this music of course
I've now got to go and find some more, so the next one will be this evening.
Well, YOU'RE no good... you'll hav eto start making them up soon
I did ask him to sing Louise but he said No. Can you believe that? He said No.
I can - have you heard him ?
No. not as yet.
Please may we have a new tune?
I'm working on a few.
Well for the time being we only need one
Oh I get it. You mean you are doctoring them.
Yes, having to convert them.
Here's the first of the new batch.
Mystery TV Theme 96
Where the heck did you find that? Noah's Ark ?
Late Seventies, early Eighties, not that old.
Oh. I don't recall it.
Wonder if it was shown in Scotland.
Have to think about this one. It doesn't ring any bells
Ooh, that's a comedy... but can't think at the moment. Of course it's a little hard to get the idea when it's only 2 seconds long
I just don't think I have seen it. I don't recall the song.
It was probably on at the wrong time for me to watch
It's around a minute long Louise.
Yes it was a good bit longer.1 minute and 15 seconds.
I still don't recall the song though
I ofetn only get a few seconds worth.. no wonder I have problems working them out!!!!
I literally only get the first 2 bars, so have to try an work out he rest of the music

Oh. I wonder if it doesn't buffer properly or some thing.
Some times you need to play it twice because it takes a while to buffer
When I do that it gets shorter!!!!
I'll ask the other half when he gets back.. he'll probably know.
