Noticed that this bird was ringed, I guess not surprising as there are regular ringing sessions at the lake, not sure whether there's enough data visible to be of any use though.
There seem to be a lot of s's there - or is it s's and 3's? Otherwise 02 is seen. Might that have been a 2002 ringing - or do Dunnocks not live that long?
Whatever, it's a superb pic of the little bird. Because Dunnocks are so (Sh! - 'drab') I find them difficult to photograph well!.gif "Smile")
Nice shot - I sometimes find that turning it into a negative sometimes help distinguish text - although I suspect that too much is on the other side of the ring to be useful
