They are certainly more prominent that on the Hen Harrier.

It looks like a Merlin (Falco columbarius) in flight - but you've just given us one of those,
- so I'm still thinking!

I've often wondered why the bird was given that name - and if there was a connection with Lord Montagu of Beaulieu near us. However, though he may have been an ancestor, he came from north-west of here. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Montagu_(naturalist)

That's a Grey Wagtail ... Motacilla cinerea - (The Linnaean name makes that pretty bird sound like a disease though, doesn't it?)

Well, leaving the car to a garage is always a problem. Usually they are totally nerds just asking for more money. I usually do the fix myself but this time it needed a mig weld and my hobby weld was too weak for that kind of job. I am sure the job will be properlyu done but at a double cost as I am a "new" customer..... Well see.

That's a difficult one, Christer. It looks like a young Warbler of some sort, although the beak is causing me some problems. I'm going to go away and think some more (ok, check the ID book some more )
I'd go for young Chiffchaffs (Phylloscopus collybita), but they are really beautiful - whatever they are...
A lot of white there, would perhaps go for juvenile Whitethroats - Sylvia communis.
Oh, yes! They have greyish heads too...
I'm going to make my excuse that the pic is ever-so-slightly over-exposed.
I did have a Whitethroat as a possibility - but I was assuming it was a youngster, with non-adult plumage... so I thought that is could be anything
