DS9 is the answer.
In my opinon the most gritty and well written Star Trek series.
Next one . . . . . . . Mystery TV Series 24

Nope, it's a childrens programme.
Oh. well I watch mainly childrens progs
It does ring a faint bell
I know this - I can't remember much detail of the actual programme due to my age, but this theme stuck with me. I suppose it's because it was quite an unusually dark and miserable sound for a kids programme.
Noggin the Nog.
Spot on. Was a must see for kids in the early 60s.
Here's the next one then Mystery TV Theme 26
It's amazing how the tunes stick in your head, just not the programme!! It's something sciencefictiony-like I think. But I'm definitely going to have to think on this.
could it be Black Beauty?
I know it's not Black Beauty as I can hear that theme in my head... I would hum it to you, but I don't think that works over the internet
Yes ,. the king brothers wrote the music to the orginal but didn't they make a new series?
Louise is on the right track.
Danger Danger Will Robinson!!
Has to be Lost in Space.

Ok, that was an easy one then.
Try this one: Mystery TV Theme 29
Was it The informers?
Nope, not the informers.
Oh. I recognise it. I will have to rethink
That must be 'Get Smart' where he strides through the building and doesn't he get his nose caught in the lift doors or something?
Oh. Don't know that onre, I didn't watch it.
Yep, Get Smart.
During the first part of the music he walks through several sliding automatic doors, until reaching the last one and it closes on his nose. His admirer is Agent 99, was agreat comedy in its time.
