    Looks like a lovely day Catherine, was similar here, bright and cold, clouded over in the afternoon though.

    Love the photos, the white of the Egret and Swans really contrasts with the blue of the water and the two walkers on the spit make a dramatic backdrop.

    Some Nice Detail on the Egret Shot! Not Seen Better! / My friend Ron who lives on the South Coast found a Roost of Egrets on Hayling Island. We visited, and sure enough just as the Light began to Fade they came in from all directions, in ones twos and threes until there were Hundreds of them in the Trees.

    Just felt too cold to walk along the Solent pathway - and it was full of frozen-over puddles anyway!
