    Default Garden Warbler at Bowdown Wood, Greenham Common

    Well that's what I believe it is, the little bird has a powerful song and it was singing pretty constantly, swapping from tree to tree. Managed to get some shots before the rain got too heavy, but at a distance.

    It's a nice little bird, Rolf, but I couldn't tell the difference between it and a Chiffchaff - or even a Willow Warbler - by the pic alone.

    I guess hearing the song makes the difference. I really must get round to learning those..............

    Yes, same here, although it is bigger than a Chiffchaff, quite a nice little song as well, got a rubbish recording on my phone with lots of noise as it rubs against the camera.

    I saw a Whitethroat the other day too, a little early I thought but we have had some good weather in the last two weeks.
