Now, I'm not one who ever praises the design or concept of any American car - old or new - as, to me, they all seem to be heavy and enlarged pieces of metal with little style and an immense hunger for fuel!
However, this one is an (or THE?) exception!
Proudly - and very appropriately - sitting at the entrance to the National Motor Museum in Beaulieu is the Auburn
Its sleek and stylish 'Art Deco' lines make it well-worthy of a special place in any motor museum.
I've added a photo of it out being driven on the concourse in summer - where, in action, the flow of its lines can be more properly appreciated!
