    I attempted a little sortie outside for 15 minutes, was close to being too much for me, but at least got a couple of photos, the second one obviously not being a Fieldfare, but its dinner.

    Glad you managed out at least, Rolf.

    Great shots - like the way the Fieldfare's eye glints as if it's looking at you, and how the colourful apples warm up that shot beautifully!

    (Hope you feel better today and will manage outside for longer! Just remember to wrap up)

    Thanks all, yes may try again today, although my chest is getting worse rather than better and actually managed no sleep las night at all, so whether I'll be up to it is another thing. So frustrating with this beautiful light.
