    The equipment I use is a Canon 30D with Sigma 50-500mm lens. I also have a garden hide from which I take most of my pictures.

    I wonder whether this Woodpecker could be full of eggs because she looks ever so chunky

    Thanks Rolf, yes it was in my garden,took this pic about 6.50am this morning. She has been back quite a few times during the day. Not at all put off by the sound of the camera. Not seen the male much though, a couple of weeks ago I saw both of them in next doors tree, she dropped in for a bite to eat but he carried on flying.
