Had a couple of Moths in the house/garden recently and I'm relying on you Beryl to tell me what they are.

had the first one in my kitchen this morning!!..i did phograph it, but was'nt pleased with the result, so deleted it.

Beryl I doubt if this is ever going to happen very often, but I did some 'searching' myself and found the moth you identified as Straw Dot to be a Scalloped Oak.
I welcome any comments you make on this Beryl as I have come to respect your knowledge on 'wildlife' matters and your ID skills.
