    The pics seems to have lost some of its punch and colour.Used a new machine for this one so maybe havent got the Colour Profile right.Thank you for your comment Chocky

    Very nice.

    I am not a big lover of horses, but there is something lovely about carthorses. Not far from here is the Shire Horse centre, and I loved seeing them there. They also had a couple of them at the Reading Beer Festival in May attached to a brewery dray... what else
    Of course, I could have been imagining it
    (that was supposed to be the beer drinking smiley... but it doesn't seem to wrok!)

    The equipment I use is a Canon 30D with Sigma 50-500mm lens. I also have a garden hide from which I take most of my pictures.

    Lovely photo, whilst researching my family tree, I discovered that when my father was young, my grandfather who was a coalman used to have Shire Horses.
