Wow, that is big.
He is very beautiful as well as big! Are you sure he is a release Pigeon though as they are very small?
Where did you see him, and is he still around? Apparently release Pigeons nearly always die as they cannot look after themselves. Sad!
I have lots of white and mixed pigeons visiting the garden just now. I think they are made up of 'lost' racing ones and white 'wedding release' ones which have gathered together to form a community under the railway bridge near us!
I saw him on the cliff side along the plantation footpath near where we saw the Owl.
I really don't know what sort of pigeon he was only that he is obviously an escapee. He was really enormous. I don't know too much about Pigeons only that breeders some time produce the most odd looking Pigeons. I have a book called 'Fancy Pigeons'
Even some small children noticed how big and different to others he was. I haven't seen him lately but haven't been out much due to the weather being bad
