    Default Mute Swan

Lousy weather so had a search through my 'old' transparencies today and amongst many others came across this 'full frame' Mute Swan.

Not quite sharp enough for my liking......but you can't win em all......can you?

    Pete.

The equipment I use is a Canon 30D with Sigma 50-500mm lens. I also have a garden hide from which I take most of my pictures.

Where was the Black Swan Babs. You won't need me to tell you they are not native to this country.

The black Swan is native to Australia and was introduced to New Zealand so a lot of folk think the come from New Zealand
We have quite a few in Dawlish . A Devon man name John Nash who went to live in New Zealand brought a pair back and they have bread in Dawlish for the past 40 odd years.
They are very beautiful and smaller than our swans
