Treecreeper- Certhia familiaris

This one ran up the tree as usual then stopped. You can see him stretching in the second photo getting ready to fly.
Sorry about the quality the light was bad and these little birds are so hard to capture

Well spotted Chocky, I haven't seen a treecreeper for a while, when we first moved into our house, I spotted one going up the tree in the golf course at the back of the garden, I'd have got some lovely shots if I'd been into photography then

They are very difficult to see.Best if you see one land as they creep up and then often fly to the base of the tree and start again,. But you do need time a patience

Yes a couple of years ago we used to watch a pair go in and out of a hole in a tree at Rivington
