    The equipment I use is a Canon 30D with Sigma 50-500mm lens. I also have a garden hide from which I take most of my pictures.

    Default Female GSW

    This female was disturbed as it was coming into land believe it or not by a House Sparrow. So it isn't posing for me like it looks it is .............it's startled and confused and wondering what to do next

    It's startled, confused, and doesn't know what to do next......just about sums me up Babs. Excellent image of the G S Woodpecker.

    Looks like Rolf and Beryl know something you don't Babs. I certainly don't and probably shouldn't
