    Default Cormorant Phalacrocorax sinensis

    This Cormorant was on Lavell's Lake at winnersh and the consesus amongst hide occupants was that it probably is one of the central European race sinensis, as it has white extending to the back of the head. There is the possibility that it may be an old bird of the carbo variety, but been looking at sinensis pictures and it is pretty much spot on.

    The equipment I use is a Canon 30D with Sigma 50-500mm lens. I also have a garden hide from which I take most of my pictures.
