    Default Bullfinch - Pyrrhula pyrrhula

These beautiful little birds are very timid and on watching for quite awhile, seam to give in easily to the other little garden birds. I took a great deal of shots but they wouldn't stay still for more than a few second . Also the sun was very bright and the seed feeder was very shaded.
so these are the best I have

Well done Beryl, they can be very shy, but you managed to get them on camera.

That first shot is superb, Beryl!

The late winter sun enhances the colours of birds' feathers. It makes them seem stronger than normal, helping the males to attract a mate - as nature intended!

    Clever thing, nature!
