    Fujifilm FinePix S8200 plus Samsung J5 mobile phone camera. Chinon Compact 9-21 x 25 RB binoculars and 10x - 30x60 Zoom binoculars

    Default Two interesting insect visitors.

    These two visited us yesterday - between rain showers!

    Firstly, a Speckled Bush Cricket (male)

    Then a Humming Bird Hawk Moth (Glen's pics for this one - as I didn't have my camera ready!)

    Well caught Catherine, superb vibrant colours in the cricket photos. Great that you're getting the Hawk Moth as well, only once seen one in our garden up here, but then as none of the surrounding neighbours have flowers in their gardens, it probably isn't surprising.

    Wow - a Hummingbird moth - I have twice spotted one briefly in the garden but literally only just long enough to spot what it was!!
