    These are very beautiful photos, Joe - especially the first one of the pair!

    I don't know how you get them so clear as any time I see them, they're off before I can switch on the camera!

    Thank you for that lovely comment Catherine. I was surprised to see the pair when I was checking my pics at home. A real bonus shot!!
    I walk around with camera on and at the ready, but walk slowly and quietly. Don't chase them If you are close to where they were then stand still and they might come back.

    Olympus Evolt E520, and borrowed lenses and flash. Fuji Finepix S7000 for Macro A chair :)

    Camera always on - yep, that's the key - it still takes a few seconds for it to get active, but not as long as from scratch. It still doesn't help if you are not looking in the right direction, though
