London from Parliament Hill

This is a view of the city of London from Parliament Hill on Hampstead Heath
Sorry abut the weather it was taken last winter. The BT tower can be seen in the second photo taken from the tower in Westminster Cathedral in London
Hampstead is where I come from and grew up

I don't know I'll have to go through my discs. I may have. I changed the sky for my web site so it must be on my London discs I will go and find them. I'll replace it if I have

Yeh! the good old Telecom Tower - (or the BT tower or the Post Office tower - depending upon when you saw it). I remember being taken up to London by my Dad, passing by this (once going up to the revolving restaurant), and then going on to a now-defunct restaurant called 'Schmidts'. AH, happy days!

I used to see it most days and when it was blown up there was a huge chunk missing from one side . It was the Post Office tower then We'd see it from the Gospel Oak Lido at the bottom of Parliament hill where we went swimming. I have never been in the tower
