    Default Long tail tit

Hi, am new to birding, and had this visitor to my garden feeder. Different colouring to it's belly than other long tail tit.

The image is a little on the small size Martin, but LTTs do come in a variety of patterns and colours, seen a couple of strange ones myself, that one could be a first winter bird..

    HI Rolf

Many thanks for the info, I did try to post a large pic, but my mb sized pics were off the scale.

I only asked as the colouration was a slight hue of orange on its belly and head, compared with the other two LTT, which were comparable in colour to my research findings.... really nice bird, pity I cant show the full size pic..

    Thanks again

Best to convert larger images to jpg, bmp files are too large for forum use, an image 1024 pixels on the largest dimension as a medium quality jpeg will be around 120KB and the forum can take twice that file size.

    Edit, that's better.

That's lovely, Martin! LTTs are such pretty little birds.

They didn't mind us being close to them when they congregated around the fatball feeder this morning. It was such a pity we didn't have a camera with us in the garden today!
