Thread: Yellowhammer and Black Redstart last thing

    Default Yellowhammer and Black Redstart last thing

    Was looking out of the living room window at Cernay at dusk and these two appeared, the Redstart collecting nesting material and the Yellowhammer singing, just enough light for photos.

    I hope you have a good break in Cernay - with pleasant spring weather to allow you to get out and about with your camera!

    Is there a lot of blossom in that orchard near you? Any Bullfinches?

    Thanks Catherine, yes, lots of blossom, here's one I took yesterday of some Apple blossom. No Bullfinches though, never seen one here.

    Lovely! (I remember birds feeding on windfall apples there once before!)

    Not meaning to boast... but we have had a Bullfinch pair visiting us several times each day recently. I think they're taking food back to their young ones.....
