    Thought I'd take a quick photo of the partially melted snow on my prize Mahonia this morning.

    It looks really beautiful, Rolf - and the perfume will be lovely too I guess!

    Looking around, I am amazed to see so many flowering shrubs just now. There are white flowers on the Viburnums and yellow ones on Winter Jasmine, while, on the ground, little Cyclamen and Primroses are realling brightening things up!

    Until now ( I suppose, after the snow ) I still had flowers on 2 shrubs that should have finished by now.... but the winter Jasmine is always nice to brighten up a dead-looking garden.
