    Default Great-crested Grebe.

    Not totally happy with this one but here goes......the elegent Great-crested Grebe in it's fine summer plumage.

    And another of the same bird.

    The equipment I use is a Canon 30D with Sigma 50-500mm lens. I also have a garden hide from which I take most of my pictures.

    I love how the young ride on the parents back of the great crested. Nice shots Pete

    Default Another view of the Grebe

    Heres another of the same bird, slightly different pose a little more 'full frontal'.

    Amazing how these creatures become so beautiful in summer plumage compared to their far less attractive winter ones.

    You have to go into advanced edit Pete, but have done it for you. vBulletin is great software and it does a lot more than some other forums, but it can be complicated until you get used to it.
