A true "woodie"

Now this is a real "woodie"...what one can do with wood!

The owner turned down just under $10,000.00 on eBay. I don't blame
him. It's got to be one of a kind and, therefore, worth a lot more than
$10,000 (to somebody).

Beautiful Custom-Built 2009 Wooden Car.

This custom wooden car rides on a 1986 Toyota truck frame and gets power
from a Chrysler 318 engine. It is driven by an automatic transmission and has merely 1,800 miles on its speedometer. The whole body is made of cedar and its interior is just as over-the-top as the exterior.





















Everyone needs a hobby, I guess.
Finally a use for red cedar.
Probably never have to worry about
moths eating the upholstery...

Excellent, my Dad's first car was 50% wood, worked really well.

It's certainly different, Crister, but it doesn't look very aerodynamic, does it?

For bodywork spares it might be difficult too - if someone smashed into a wheel arch.....

But it would certainly be more biodegradable than most.
