So true, Beryl!

They are amazingly beautiful birds, but are not near the top of my Bird League as they are so cruel when they plunder e.g. Blackbirds' nests. I always feel there is plenty more food around for them, and Blackbirds, although vulnerable in their nests, are not competitors for food or nesting sites, so feel it is all unnecessary.

There are some tall trees in the parkland opposite us, so I expect their nests will be quite near our garden - too near for my liking!
