Took these thinking that they were Small Skipper butterflies, but asked advise from www.ukbutterflies.co.uk, where Pete informed me that they are probably Essex Skipper butterflies.

Was going through the butterflies to see what we had and came across your Essex Skipper Rolf.
Excellent captures.
Haven't seen the Essex. Don't think we get them in Exmouth. I believe they have slightly different style antennae to the Large and Small species
Crumbs, that's a golden oldie Beryl.
I know. But I can't think why I missed it as I like the Skippers.
