    A couple of aeroplane shots of the Alps I assume, I was not taking that much notice, but we had just gone over Holland and turned South East

    More lovely photos, Neil! I've just checked with 'Flash Earth', and the scene looks very much like the Austrian Alps near Saltzburg - but then, there are probably many other locations very similar.

    What a wonderful experience though - worth flying over just to see, never mind to which destination!

    Yes. Lovely . It's quite breathtaking .
    I remember when Flying to Naples(wee lived there for two years) and flying over snow topped Vesuvius.It was awesome
