Olympus Evolt E520, and borrowed lenses and flash. Fuji Finepix S7000 for Macro A chair :)

Default A couple of characters from my trip up to London a week or so ago

I added 'texture to the first one because it just looked so stark, but the second one was taken with wrong settings (yep, didn't check before I clicked), so was a bit grainy - so I decided to go with the 'grunge'

The accordian player was by the side of Charing Cross station and the Skateboarder was on the South Bank, there is a little section under the buildings that is filled with graffiti and boarders/bikers.

Both good photos Louise, love the grittiness of the first one and the action of the second one.

Lots of character in that accordion player - and what a great action shot that second one is!

Thanks Ladies (and I use that term very loosely ) I was lucky with the action shot as I was late so couldn't stop at the skateboarders and just snapped a few shots as I walked past without using the multishot... I got VERY lucky with this one... apart from having the wrong settings (very high ISO, into a dark space ).
