This lovely female Great Spotted Woodpecker is a regular visitor on our fat block feeder.
Well recorded too!
We have three different ones calling, but recently two have called together - a male and a female. They were on the Forsythia bush for about two mins, then one left the fatcake feeder there to go on to the one on the Pitstop.
I wasn't as lucky as you in getting a photo, and knew that had I tried to, they'd both have flown away!
They're certainly twitchy, the slightest movement and they're off.
