I bought this plant specially for the Blackcaps, as prior to our last neighbours cutting theirs down, it was always frequented by them. The plan worked and it was well worth the money buying a large plant, as it gives you a flying start..gif "Smile")
Unfortunately it doesn't always go smoothly, on this occasion I wish I'd had a camcorder, as he got something stuck and took a minute or so to clear his throat.
The first set are excellent captures Rolf.
What a pity about the window in the second series but still great .
The second batch was purely to see what was happening.

Is that a recent set at the foot, or last year's, Rollf?
The reason I asked is that I know some varieties of Mahonia flower about now, although ours is much later. It would be good to have one flowering early though!
The first set is wonderfully, clear and colourful. Despite the haze, the second set it lovely too - and if you darken the 'midtones' slightly, they will come up almost perfect! (I just tried!)
Our Forsythia has tried to flower already, but the cold weather has meant that the yellow buds have turned brown - not at all a happy shrub!
Little Primroses and Winter Cyclamen are the garden jewels just now!
The picture is current Catherine, it is just starting to go out of flower now.
