    Default Ringed Plover

Well at least this is an up to date effort having been taken just today. This lovely little wader was with about six others and a similar number of Dunlin as a 9.5m tide was rising towards them on the shingle at Cockersands one of many favourite birding haunts of mine.

    Thanks for your comments Beryl/Rolf.

    Two questions Rolf......

    1) Why have you had no opportunities to go out of late?

    2) Why are some images able to be expanded, and some not?

    1. Rolf has to work

    2. I think the image has to be over a certain size before it expands I'm not actually certain. Rolf will know the answer

Yes, that's right on both counts Beryl. Plus I'm catching up on a backlog, as I wasn't too well for a while.
