    Captured this young Herring gul landing in the brook. Thought it was rather a nice landing.

    The equipment I use is a Canon 30D with Sigma 50-500mm lens. I also have a garden hide from which I take most of my pictures.

    Actually all of the gull were doing this. I just happened to catch this in action . They are fishing . They seam t swoop down sample the water and then come up again and land . Now I realize of course they are fishing.
