    Default Sunrise September 2004.

Please note - these pics havent been retouched in any way - this is what we actually saw from outside our front door on the morning of September 22nd 2004.

You can tell they havent been photoshopped because of the telephone wire running across the pics

Next time I stand somewhere away from the phone wire!

The light was changing incredibly fast - the second and third pics are only a minute apart but the conditions are already totally different.

I used to run around like a headless chicken trying (and often succeeding) to catch the setting/rising sun in my photographic days......just as happy with my 'birding' passion these days though.

Excellent rising sun images here Ross.

It was another case of being in the right place at the right time. Had got out of bed, wandered downstairs and thrown open the living room curtains half asleep as usual.
It eventually registered that the sky was looking remarkably pretty, so had a bleary eyed scramble to find the camera....!
