    Default Merry Christmas?

This is a cafe that is actually a shed in the middle of the road in the town centre. It's one of the last individual businesses here, as most are nationwide chain shops (we are one of the the top 'clone' towns). The sign actually flashes between 'Merry' and 'Christmas', but since this was on the way to work on a very cold morning, the chap wasn't exactly looking merry

LOL, quite appropriate that the Merry's gone out.

Thanks - but, the photo I really wanted to have taken was a few days ago - there were three men sitting on the bench all looking miserable (probably just not woken up yet, but who cares ). Unfortunately I didn't have my camera out and by the time I did, 2 had got up and walked off. I even worked out a great title about the 3 wise men and getting here too late due to their GPS, Global Positioning Sage

Anyway, yes Rolf, it's the St Mary's Butts. Here's a less artistic shot (honestly- it need all the art it can get ) But I love it - and especially since it's in the middle of the road!

Louise, have you sent that first shot into the local newspaper, or to Sky News/other yet?

I honestly think you should - it's brilliant - and it needs no explanation to go with it!

(I'll check to see if there's a better site for it.....)

Well, thanks so much Catherine - nice to have a fan club I haven't really considered ever doing anything like that. I may think about it over the weekend. BTW, love the 'bah humbug emoticon
