Default The Tuftie club at Dinton Pastures

Had a quick pop into Dinton Pastures this afternoon to try and catch a peek at the Bittern reported as being seen there. Didn't see the Bittern but took this photo on Black Swan Lake of the Tufted Ducks.

Then popped into the hide at Lavell's Lake, refreshingly with free access and outlook over the lake, scrape and songbird feeding area. Took the Island picture from there, showing the Cormorants and Lapwings, plus a Pochard and Coot..

Thanks Beryl, that was quite a distance away, probably 70m, so quite pleased with it myself, did have to use Noise Ninja and Focus Magic on it though, as it was rather grainy at 800 ISO.

Nice pics - especially the Grebe!

Love the different 'hairdos' they sport too!
