    Getting any flight photos of a Kingfisher is a result Joe, they really do move very quickly.

    Was she calling whilst flying?

    These are good. I managed some about a year ago as he flies in to land on a perch in the brook. I wasn't quite so near .

    Funnily enough, after all of the shots we have of a sitting Kingfisher, I was just thinking how I've not see one in flight. I have now!

    Photography is always about looking forward to even better shots in the future, With mine I was trying to follow your' third rule, I know mine didn't quite work .

    Not bad at all, It's diffcult enough to get large birds in flight let alone a Kingfisher great work.
