    Some really super pics there, Rolf! You certainly have mastered that lens!

    I think the first one is a female – with ovipositor. It is amazing the difference in lengths of the feelers. No. 6 has one short rear leg and a long one. There are strange ‘horns’ at the tails of many – possibly for mating grip?

    And that last one really made me laugh. He looks so ‘surprised’

    Thanks Catherine, yes it's a lovely lens, providing it can be held still enough, the results are nice and crisp. The little chap in the last photo really needs a caption.
