    Nikon D300,nikon 70-200 +1.7 converter. Nikon 105 mm Macro with VR Sigma 300 with X2 converter Nikon P5000 with fieldscope and Binos Nikon D7000 Nikon 17-55 mm F2.8

    Default Grey Heron

    I am posting these as Aaron wanted to see the effects of Hi iso.
    The tech details are shown in top left corner.

    Taken on Sunday at Barnes WWT using the 300 mm + 2x converter
    He was so close that this was all I could get of him

    The 3200 is still acceptable Joe, I find that the 1600 on my camera is so grainy as to be only useful for identification shots.
